Powerful but lightweight, the Makita HR2470 3 mode SDS+ rotary hammer drill packs quite a punch.The HR2470 SDS+ rotary hammer drill is equipped with three drilling modes, rotary only, rotary hammer and chiseling action, drilling up to 13mm into steel, 32mm into wood and an impressive 24mm into concrete making it the ideal machine for multiple applications.Equipped with a powerful 780 watt motor providing 4500bpm with 2.4 Joules of impact energy per stroke, forward and reverse rotation, torque limiter, variable speed trigger for greater control, together with an impact stop facility for use when drilling wood or metal (an SDS+ chuck adaptor may be required.)The compact and lightweight 2.6kg design of the HR2470 makes transportation around the worksite easy without compromising on operating power, whilst the ergonomic soft grip handle provides maximum comfort and reduces user fatigue and greater tool control.
